A NaNo Novel on Sale for NaNo

As mentioned before, I will be participating in NaNoWriMo again this year. You might also know that my novel Lesson One: Revolution! was originally written for NaNoWriMo in 2009. I thought it would be a fun way to celebrate the NaNoWriMo experience by putting that novel on sale during NaNoWriMo. Therefore, during November of this year, you will be able to buy the Kindle or Nook version for just 99 cents. I would like to put the paperback at a reduced price also, but the higher cost of print-on-demand printing does not give me much flexibility. However, the e-book is just as good, and you don't need to own a Kindle or Nook to read it. You can download free software for Windows, OS X, and a variety of mobile devices that will allow you to read the e-book on your existing hardware. Just visit the Barnes & Noble or Amazon Web site to download the software of your choice.

If you are not interested in reading my novel but would like to encourage my progress in NaNoWriMo, I would be very happy if you would sponsor me. The nonprofit organization that runs NaNoWriMo relies on donations for their operations. Their programs have a positive impact on literacy throughout the world. Depending on your tax situation, you may be able to get a tax deduction for your donation to the Office of Letters and Light (OLL), as they are a 501(c)(3) organization. In the past I have had some generous sponsors, and I know that it has a positive impact on pushing me to complete my book on time, or at least reach the 50,000 word goal on time.

If you are a writer participating in NaNoWriMo this year, I wish you the best of luck! I may or may not post to this blog as frequently in November but in any case I will see you back here in December.
