It happens every year. In fact, it seems to happen several times every year! Of course, "it" refers to fundraising events for schools. So when a child I know (not necessarily my child, just one I know and want to support) has a fundraiser in progress, I will try to post info about it here. I don't work in a big office so I can't just leave the fundraising flyer in the lunch room, but I can share info here on the big ol' World-Wide Web!

Also, please remember that we always welcome clipped-out "Box Tops for Education" -- these little coupons appear on many products (cereal, Kleenex®, and more), and they're a great way to raise funds for schools. If you'd like to help, just clip them out when you see them, and get your collection to me in whatever way seems convenient to you.

Update: Due to the high cost and low benefit of posting specific fundraiser info here, I have decided not to do that anymore. However, I will often mention on Twitter and/or Facebook when a new fundraiser starts, so if you're interested in this sort of thing, "follow" or "friend" me on those sites.
