Another Site, Another Challenge...

After reading about LuckyOliver on a site dedicated to discussions of microstock, I decided I would give it a shot. So I created an account and three photos for them to consider whether to accept me as a contributing photographer or not.

Of course, it hasn't gone smoothly, as has been true for I think all of the sites I've tried. It took me a couple tries to get accepted on Shutterstock. I never have made it onto iStockPhoto (and am less interested now so maybe I never will be). I don't remember how easy or difficult it was to get accepted on Dreamstime, so maybe that one went smoothly for a change!

Anyway, I have two photos accepted on LuckyOliver but I need a third, and the rejection process has helped deflate my confidence in a replacement to upload for that third image. I'm not sure what to upload, whether I should try something I've already shot and had accepted on other sites or shoot something new. Probably shooting something new would be the best approach, since then I can upload the new image to the other sites as well.

The real question is why I keep finding new challenges for myself when I haven't taken care of all my old ones! Anyway, I'm hoping I can get a lucky break with LuckyOliver...
