Background

Several years ago, I stumbled across morgueFile.com and was intrigued by what I saw. I created an account, and uploaded a few photos. About half a decade later, I now have hundreds and hundreds of photos in the morgueFile archive, waiting to be downloaded by anybody who wants to use them as stock or reference images, for personal or commercial projects. My photos have been viewed at preview size over a quarter million times, and downloaded at full size tens of thousands of times. I have heard from people all over the planet who have found ways to use the photos I've shared there. I'm also now a moderator on the site, keeping things somewhat sane in the forums (mostly deleting spam) and reviewing newly-uploaded photos. Overall, it's been quite an experience!
