Win a Free Children's Book

Note: This offer is now over.

Would you like to win a free children's book for the beginning reader on your holiday shopping list? Or if you're a teacher, would you like to win it for your elementary school classroom?

Just in time for the holidays, you could win a free copy of Two Boys, Two Planets for the early reader(s) in your life. This book sells for $12.99 plus shipping on Amazon, but you can win a free copy instead.

How To Enter

The process of entering this random drawing has been updated to make it even easier! If you're already a user of Twitter or Google+, there is just one step to enter:

  1. "Retweet" this Tweet, or "Share" this Google+ post

Only one retweet or share per person. (That is, if you retweet it more than once, it still counts as one entry.)

If you don't already have an account with either service, this gives you a good excuse to try out either one! You can always get rid of your account later if you decide you don't like it. Here are the links to use to sign up for Twitter and/or Google+.

Extra Entries

Want more chances to win? After doing the above, you can do any of the following:

  1. If you use both Twitter and Google+, do both of the above -- retweet the tweet and share the post. Each will count for a separate entry
  2. Connect with me online:

Then send me a note to let me know that you connected with me as an entry for this drawing

  3. Post a comment on this blog with an answer to this question: If you could visit any planet or moon in our solar system, other than Earth, which would you visit? (If you post anonymously and your comment shows up as being from Nomad, send me a note via my contact form to tell me which comment is yours and give me a way to contact you if you win)

Those optional entries are only valid after the required entry shown above under "How To Enter" — in other words, for example, just posting a comment here will not count as an entry if you did not do the one required step.

Determining the Winner

On December 2, I will use random.org to select one winner at random from all valid entries. I will then contact the winner to arrange delivery details. This contest is open to US residents for delivery in the US only. Members of my immediate family are not eligible to win.
